To cancel your Avast subscription on Windows, be sure which distributor you ordered your Avast from, you can also check the order confirmation email or debit/credit card statement to confirm which distributor you purchased your Avast from.
You can disable or cancel your Avast Subscription using either of the following platforms:
- Avast customer portal: This implies if you have access to your order confirmation email, then you can cancel your subscription through Avast customer portal.
- Avast Account: if your subscription is connected to an Avast Account, you can cancel your Avast Subscription through Avast Account.
How to cancel Avast subscription via the Avast customer portal:
STEP 1: Open Avast customer portal in your internet browser using the link:
STEP 2: type your order ID and password, then select or click Find Order. (Make sure your password is correctly imputed).
NOTE: You can locate your order ID and password in the order confirmation email. And If you cannot locate this email, then click on ‘Forgot your order ID?, inserting your email address and the last four digits of the credit card used in purchasing, this will enable you to locate your order ID if forgotten.
STEP 3: On the Your subscriptions page, tap on Unsubscribe next to the relevant subscription.
STEP 4: Click on Unsubscribe from future renewals and let my subscription expire on MM/DD/YYYY, then click Confirm. (Note: once you click on confirm this means you no longer have active Avast subscription after the typed date). After this, your subscription has been disabled.
How to Cancel Avast Premium via your Avast Account:
STEP 1: open your current Avast subscriptions, follow the link – avast.com
NOTE: If you are not logged in to your Avast Account, your email address and password have to be entered for you to be logged in, then click Login. If you do not have any Avast Account, cancel your automatic renewal using the Avast customer portal. (Your email and password have to be correctly entered.)
STEP 2: After being successfully logged in, Tap on Unsubscribe under the relevant subscription.
STEP 3: Click Unsubscribe from future renewals and let my subscription expire on MM/DD/YYYY, then click Confirm.
STEP 4: you will see a notification with “we’re now unsubscribing you from Avast premium, this could take up to 24hrs, but in most cases, it’s much faster” click on “GOT IT.” That’s it, you have canceled the Avast premium.
The renewal and cancelation option is separate for each subscription and can be managed separately as well. In case, you have more than one Avast subscription with the automatic renewal enabled, you have to repeat the steps above for each subscription you want to cancel.
For MAC OS: Follow the steps below to cancel Avast subscription:
STEP 1: Open your iTunes and make sure you are signed in with your Apple ID.
STEP 2: Select/ click on Account at the top of your computer screen, then select View My Account.
STEP 3: Type your password, then click Sign in (ensure that the password is correct)
STEP 4: On the Account Information page, scroll down to Settings
STEP 5: Select Manage next to Subscriptions.
STEP 6: Select Edit next to the relevant Avast subscription, then click Cancel Subscription.
For Android OS: Follow the steps below to cancel Avast subscription on your Android device:
STEP 1: Open the Google Play Store on your mobile device
STEP 2: click on the ☰ Menu icon in the top-left corner of your screen, then select Account from the list.
STEP 3: Click on Subscriptions, then select Cancel below the relevant Avast subscription.
STEP 4: Click on Cancel Subscription to confirm the cancelation.
For iPhone/ Ipad: Follow the steps below to cancel Avast subscription.
STEP 1: Open App Store on your device.
STEP 2: Select your profile photo in the top-right of the screen.
STEP 3: Click on the Manage Subscriptions, then tap the relevant Avast subscription.
STEP 4: Click on Cancel Subscription to turn off the automatic renewal.
How To Cancel Avast Cleanup Premium Subscription:
To uninstall Avast Cleanup Premium from your Desktop, follow the steps in the sections below(according to your program version)
If your operating system is Windows 10:
STEP 1: Log into System as a user with administrator permissions and make sure other applications or antivirus software are not running on your system.
STEP 2: Right-click, Windows, start button, and click on Apps and Features from the menu that appears.
STEP 3: Make sure that Apps & Features is selected in the left panel, then click Avast Cleanup Premium, and select Uninstall.
STEP 4: If the permission for the User Account Control dialog prompts, click Yes.
STEP 5: Once the Avast Cleanup Premium Uninstaller appears, click Yes to confirm the uninstallation.
STEP 6: Wait while uninstaller removes Avast Cleanup Premium from your system.
STEP 7: Immediately, the uninstallation is complete, click, OK.
