Standard computer specifications in Windows

Checking System menu

The easiest way to get some basic information about any computer including the amount of RAM, the model and clock rate of the CPU, system version and its type, and the name of the PC as well. You can get to the System menu by doing one of the following:

  • Right-click on the icon «This PC» on your desktop and select Properties.
  • Press start and go to the Control Panel, then open the System menu.

Check system information using Command Prompt

You can also find your computers specs using Command Prompt. In order to do so just follow these simple steps:
